I am committed (no pun) to acknowleging my blacksheep ancestors: those that have murdered or accidentally killed, left their wives & children behind, were abusive to children and/or animals. It is important to me to dig into those parts of my heritage that are in the light and those from the dark side. However, I don't see mental illness as a cause for shame. Come on, get more creative in your efforts stir up the muck through which our roots have grown. Listing insane patients is a cheap shot.
